The Strategic Plan for
The Elisabeth Morrow School
2025–2030
Our strategic plan builds at an important intersection of our core values, where who we’ve always been leads us unfailingly toward what we hope to become in the future. The three watchwords of our plan call us to think about what grounds us, what inspires us, and how we are united in our work.

THREE
WATCHWORDS
OF OUR PLAN
INTENTION
The EMS community is thoughtful and purpose-driven, and our strategic plan is grounded in our core values and mission. We’re growing from the roots of our beliefs — not making changes for the sake of change.

INNOVATION
Our curriculum offers core academic skill-building melded with engaging, transformative experiences, which encourage human-centered design thinking and real-world problem solving. EMS students are empowered to think critically, work creatively, and lead confidently in our rapidly changing world.

INTERCONNECTION
We’re increasing our focus on interdisciplinary, experiential learning, preparing for a future that calls learners to navigate a complex interplay of ideas, technologies, and collaborators. This plan builds a student experience on real, rich, relationships between students and educators, among peers, and with a wider community beyond campus.

Built on these guiding principles, our carefully balanced strategic plan ensures that all members of The Elisabeth Morrow School community have a clear path to follow together, toward an exciting, promising future for our school.
